Pet Ashes into Art
Pet Ashes into Art. We’ve just started working with Louise and she is an amazingly talented artist. She creates the most stunning modern abstract artworks which would look gorgeous in any home. She works in non-toxic, non-yellowing artists resin which has a glass like high sheen but will not discolour.
The Creative Process
If you contact Louise she will first talk to you about the painting that she will create with your pet’s ashes. If you are happy to go ahead you will then be sent a pack that has everything you need to send a small amount of your pets ashes – about a dessertspoon – and a photo of them. There is also a consent form included in the pack so that Louise has permission to use the ashes to immortalise your pet forever.
Louise will then use your pet’s photo to meditate before painting so that she is able to visualise your pet during the creative design. Louise is incredibly attuned to animal welfare and will treat your pet’s ashes with the utmost respect and incorporate them tastefully into the artwork.
Louise will return any unused ashes and any photos along with your memorial piece of abstract art.
Will I be able to Hang my Artwork?
All artworks have a hanging system attached to the back which is done by a local professional framer. All paintings are created on primed birch board which is of the highest quality and yet lightweight making it ideal for hanging.

How long will my memorial artwork take?
Louise will try to make your painting as soon as possible after receiving the ashes but please allow 6 to 8 weeks for delivery as the resin will need time to harden before it can be sent in the post. If you do need the artwork by a certain date please do state that clearly on the form.
