Discreet Scattering

These gorgeous walking sticks are hand hewn for us by a local chap in Okehampton, we then get them hollowed and fitted with a hollow metal capsule for the discreet scattering of a beloved pets ashes.

We can offer the walking stick in a choice of wood, each with its own character.

The staves are unique and come from around Okehampton, on the edge of Dartmoor in Devon England. They are seasoned and then hand prepared and finally finished with Danish oil.

This type has a hollow capsule with a stainless steal top where you can store some ashes (about a tablespoon full). The top can be unscrewed so you can scatter just a token amount at a place that was special to you – along Offa’s dyke or the Cairngorms for example. Then you can put some more in for the next time you step out.

The Memorial Walking Stick is 100-120cm – but be cut to a size, each is different in appearance.

It will take about 4 – 6 weeks depending on what staves are in stock. We aim to complete as early as possible.
