Pet Keepsake Hearts. Beautiful handmade Memorial Brass Heart Keepsake Urn. You may want to keep some ashes close, or you may want to share some with family, these are ideal.

Memorial Brass Heart Keepsake Urn are a wonderful way of doing this, they hold a portion of ashes and come in a lined presentation box.

Dimensions: Height 7.5cm x Width 8cm x Depth 4.5cm (3″ x 3″ x 2″)

Capacity: the chamber holds a small amount of ashes approx 0.2ltr (a token amount).

Stand: Comes with a stand included. 

Hand crafted and hand painted each keepsake heart is completely unique.

They all feature a screw hatch for filling on the rear of the keepsake heart. Due to the nature they can vary very slightly from one to another, but this is the nature of being hand crafted .

Keeping the ashes

Many people keep their beloved pets ashes at home, some because they are not sure what to do with them, some because they are not yet ready to do something with them and some simply want to keep them close by, in the house.  Sometimes, very well meaning, friends will give advice such as ‘it’s time to move on’ or ‘you’ll feel better if you scatter/bury them’. But only you will know how you feel with the loss of your beloved pet and only you will know when and if the time is right to do something else with the ashes.

It is worthwhile thinking about keeping some of the ashes, they can help to allow other members of the family or friends to satisfy their need to do something with the ashes whilst you get to keep some with you.  This will give you more time to decide what you want to do as your feelings may change over time. Until then these urns can keep the ashes safely at home without you having to explain your reasons to anyone, if someone admires the keepsake it is up to you whether you tell them or not.
