Wooden Burial Urns. We are inspired daily by our beautiful local woodland Yarner so we designed this gorgeous artisan pet urn to reflect our natural surroundings. It is handmade here in Devon in oak.

Each urn is individually crafted to the highest possible standards by our highly skilled, and very friendly, local carpenter. Simon takes the utmost pride in creating absolutely amazing urns. Each one is designed to have absolutely no metalwork (hinges or clasps) so that it meets the Natural Burial Standards. The joints are dowelled, using a tiny bit of glue. The lid is designed to slide smoothly on and off and is held securely in place with an oak peg.

Simon also keeps bees and makes his own beeswax using his own, completely natural, recipe. He supplies the beeswax in a small pot so that you can finish the urn yourself. This is a really cathartic thing to do and many people finds this really helps with bereavement. Don’t worry if you would rather not do this, we can always get Simon to do it for you at no extra cost. By the way his honey is delicious too!
