Memory Stone Planter
Memory Stone Planter. Keeping your pet’s ashes in a planter in your garden is a fantastic idea. Our traditional planter design is simple, elegant and timeless. It will make a wonderful garden centre-piece or an addition to a favourite corner.
Large Garden Memorials for more than one pet
The memory stone pedestal underneath the planter holds up to four ashtainers (an ashtainer holds 240 cubic inches which is suitable for two large dogs or a horse). Several of our customers have one in their garden and with all their pet’s ashes held discreetly inside. It’s almost like a pet mausoleum. I wish I had one of these when we were children, we moved a lot and every time we had to leave our pets behind in the garden.

Can I keep my pet’s ashes in the garden?
The simple answer is yes.
You can keep their ashes in a garden pet urn or you can bury them in the ground. The major benefit of putting them in an urn is that:
- You don’t need permission
- They will be secure and dry
- You can take them with you if you have to move house
- They are discreet – only you will know what is inside
- They make a really special feature in your garden
- You can visit the spot as often as you want/need
- You can choose to make memorial jewellery or glassware at a later date.

How do I keep ashes in the garden?
We are a nation of gardeners and many pets would love to be placed to rest in the garden that they loved, nurtured and enjoyed. The main downside to simply burying the ashes in the garden is that if the house ever has to be sold you will have to find and dig the ashes up or leave them behind. This can be stressful for all involved. By keeping the ashes inside an ornament in the garden not only do you get to put your beloved pet in the place that they loved, but if you do ever need to move home you can simply take them with you.
What if I change my mind?
The other benefit of a memorial garden ornament is that it is completely discreet. This will give you more time to decide what you want to do as your feelings may change over time. Until then these urns can keep the ashes safely at home without you having to explain your reasons to anyone, if someone admires the keepsake it is up to you whether you tell them or not.
