Pet ashes into memorial Glass Jenny Wren

The Jenny Wren can be seen hopping around our gardens most days, inspiring joy and happiness, creating playtime for our pets. They are nimble little things, never staying in one place for more than a second or two before hopping away searching for food. Their explosive song, commands immediate attention, as if to say “Hey, over here! I may be small in size, but not in personality”.

They are discreet yet prominent, these individually hand blown glass birds are stunning.

The Memorial Glass Jenny Wren contains a small amount of your loved ones ashes amongst shades of brown and beige colours with a touch of golden sparkle as if shimmering in the sunshine. They are handmade in Devon by craftsmen with years of experience

The Jenny Wren birds are a lovely size that fits perfectly in your hand, such a tactile memorial item and has a good weight if you also wish to use them as a paperweight.

The procedure is extremely rigorous and each item comes with a certificate of authenticity so that you know that only the ashes you have provided are in your memorial glass.

Keeping your pet’s ashes

Many people keep their pet’s ashes at home, some because they are not sure what to do with them, some because they are not yet ready to do something with them and some simply want to keep them close by, in the house.  Sometimes, very well meaning, friends will give advice such as ‘it’s time to move on’ or ‘you’ll feel better if you scatter/bury them’. But only you will know how you feel about the loss and only you will know when and if the time is right to do something else with the ashes.

Splitting your pet’s ashes

It is worthwhile thinking about keeping some of your pet’s ashes. You can scatter or bury most of the ashes on a favourite walk perhaps, or in the garden. But if you keep a small amount back you can memorialise when you are ready.  This will give you more time to decide what you want to do as your feelings may change over time.

The Process

As soon as you buy an  ashes into glass ornament we will send you a pack with everything you need to send a small amount – a teaspoon of ashes per item – securely to our glassmaker.

The glass maker keeps the ashes securely in a safe until they are individually handmade into your glass memorial. Once cooled the robin is sent securely to you with the certificate of authenticity.

The process takes between 6 to 8 weeks from receipt of ashes.

1 review for Glass Memorial Jenny Wren

  1. Jan (My Pet's Ashes Customer)

My Pet’s Ashes dealt with our order with care and consideration. There was no pressure to return the ashes but could do so when we were ready. We were informed of the arrival of Barney’s ashes at their premises and kept up to date with the progress. When our chosen memorial was ready we were informed that it was on it’s way home and it arrived promptly. Well packaged and protected.
We were so pleased with the finished product and I smile every time I look at the little wren on my window sill.
    Thank you all concerned.
