Pet Keepsake Wooden Heart
Keepsake for pet ashes. Hand carved pet keepsake heart in oak or Spalted Beech. Each heart has two halves which come apart to reveal an extra special mini heart hidden inside. The inner heart will hold a small amount of your beloved pets ashes in a lightly sparkled resin and can be engraved with their name or small message.
Each wooden heart keepsake is handmade to order by a wonderful, local artisan and comes beautifully packaged in a stylish presentation box which makes it a suitable sympathy gift.
Personalising your Keepsake Heart
We can engrave a message on your heart, a name is popular but we can put a small message or dates on instead if preferred. This will make your keepsake completely unique and special to you.
The Process
As soon as you purchase a Pet Keepsake wooden heart we will send you a pack with everything you need to send your pets ashes securely to us.
You only need a small amount of ashes – about a teaspoon of ashes per item.
We let you know that the ashes have arrived safely and then hand deliver your pets ashes to our local artisan.
We keep the ashes securely in a safe until they are ready to be made into your unique wooden heart.
As soon as your item is ready we pack it in a beautiful presentation box and send it securely to you with the certificate of authenticity.
The process takes between 4 to 6 weeks from receipt of ashes.
Pet Ashes Keepsakes
Many people keep their beloved pet’s ashes at home, some because they are not sure what to do with them, some because they are not yet ready to do something with them and some simply want to keep them close by, in the house. Sometimes, very well meaning, friends will give advice such as ‘it’s time to move on’ or ‘you’ll feel better if you scatter/bury them’. But only you will know how you feel with the loss of your beloved pet and only you will know when and if the time is right to do something else with the ashes.
