Dog Ashes within Glass

Dog ashes into glass. This beautiful walking stick was inspired by a lovely Scattering Ashes customer who wanted to carry on walking his dog after he sadly passed away. We used a small amount of Max’s ashes in an amber glass topper and then worked with a fantastic local chap who specialises in walking stick and we had it mounted onto an Ash walking stick. So Max is still walked every day along with the new addition to the family, Poppy the puppy!

We now offer the glass topped walking stick in a choice of wood, each with its own character.

• Hazel
• Apple
• Blackthorn

The staves are unique and come from the edge of Dartmoor in Devon, England. They are seasoned for at least a year, hand prepared and finished with danish oil. They are fitted with a walking stick rubber end.

The ashes are blown into a glass topper in two different designs a Swirl and a Stardust. See our glass paperweights for full details of the process.

You can have a choice of colours for the glass topper:

• Amber
• Black
• Mossy Green (shown on left in photo)
• Bespoke colours are also available (if you choose this option we will contact you to discuss the colour you would like)

The Memorial Walking Stick is approximately 110-120cm in length which can vary slight, each is different in appearance. You can alter the length to suit your height, there may be a small additional charge, please put this in the comments section and we will call you to discuss and confirm.

It will take about 8 – 12 weeks. We aim to complete as early as possible.
