Pet Birthstones by Month – June. Pearl is the birthstone for all pets born in June. Pearls are famously created from a small amount of grit within an oyster and that is rather like our pets isn’t it? It’s their slight quirks and personalities that make them such lovable and perfect gems! They are the only gemstones that are created within a living thing, although they are mostly cultivated in Bahrain and Australia today.

June Birthstone Meanings
It is the gem colour for all Geminis. This is for pets born between May 21st – June 20th. Pearls have long symbolised purity and was the jewel most associated with our Virgin Queen Elizabeth I. The Greeks believed they were formed from the tears of the gods and the ancient Chinese thought that the moon created them.

Whatever month your pet was born being able to use that colour in a piece of memorial jewellery can be very comforting. I have my April’s ashes in a Tiffany Ring, an Eternity Ring and a Silver Teardrop.
